
Chappell Roan brought the “Pink Pony Club” to the steps of the Met for Monday’s annual gala.
The 27-year-old Grammy Award winner arrived towards the end of the Met Gala carpet. The singer wore a bright pink suit covered in a sparkling patchwork of different shades of pink and gold.
The singer opted to wear her long red hair down. She wore a daring eye makeup look that included pink tear tracks down her face. Roan left New York’s The Carlyle Hotel in a matching pink overcoat.

Monday marked Roan’s first time attending fashion’s biggest night, however, the singer has become known for her stylish and daring, drag queen-inspired looks over the last year.
Roan released her latest single “The Giver” in March, her first since her meteoric rise to pop stardom in throughout the end of 2024. The country-pop track felt like a quintessential Roan song, despite her venture into the country genre. “I have such a special place in my heart for country music. I grew up listening to it every morning and afternoon on my school bus and had it swirling around me at bonfires, grocery stores and karaoke bars,” the singer said in a release for the song.
The singer made an impactful speech urging the music industry to take care of their artists following her win for best new artist at the 2025 Grammy Awards. “I told myself if I ever won a Grammy, and I got to stand up here in front of the most powerful people in music, I would demand that labels and the industry profiting millions of dollars off of artists would offer a livable wage and health care, especially to developing artists,” Roan said, met with cheers from the crowd.”
