Prime Video has announced the return of its annual Prime Experience FYC event, inviting members of the Television Academy and associated industry guilds to “step behind the curtain for an immersive, in-depth look at the creative process” behind their series.
The event will be held May 4-22 at nya studios WEST in Hollywood for the second year in a row, with a particular emphasis on Étoile, The Boys and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Activations include a ballet-inspired museum installation with curated props and production design emulating the Amy Sherman-Palladino and Dan Palladino dancer dramedy. Two immersive spaces will encapsulate the plot of The Boys‘ fourth season with a resistance-themed Starlight House and a propaganda-fueled Truthbomb News Studio where guests can browse scripts, sit at a director’s station to view behind-the-scenes footage of the superhero drama’s director Eric Kripke, be captured in a cinematic VFX photo op and take home self-help pamphlets featuring images of the show’s production design.

For The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Celebrimbor’s Forge will be brought to life in a split-space installation where guests can recreate the moment when the elven-smith drops the Rings of Power into the fire, browse production design sketches and come face to face with an Orc.
Prime Video will also lean into its other titles like The Better Sister, Another Simple Favor, #1 Happy Family USA, Cross and Overcompensating with unique takeovers such as bespoke food menus and rotating bar specials. Dedicated FYC panels will be held for each of the platform’s aforementioned series as well.
